Emergency response

Chapter One

Nobody phones a roofer on a good day.

It always begins small. Something you notice on a Tuesday and decide to deal with later, while the roof carries on letting water into the timber underneath.

For fifteen years we have been the call people make at that point. Four symptoms account for almost every one of them.

01

Damp & water stains

A brown ring on the ceiling means water has already been sitting in the structure for weeks.

02

Missing tiles

One gap exposes the felt and battens either side of it. Gaps spread faster than people expect.

03

Roof leaks

The drip is rarely below the hole. Water travels along timber before it ever shows itself.

04

Storm damage

After a gale off the North Sea, damage you cannot see from the ground is the norm, not the exception.

Recognise any of the four? That is your roof asking for the phone call. Everything we can do about it is below.

Chapter Two

Twelve things we do, and do properly.

Domestic and commercial, emergency and planned, traditional slate and modern membrane. Hover any card to see the work behind it.

Roof Repairs

Roof Repairs

The small fix that stops the big bill.

Roof Repairs

Slipped slates, cracked tiles, a drip that only shows up in a north-easterly. We find the actual cause, not the nearest symptom.

Emergency Roof Repairs

Emergency Roof Repairs

When the weather will not wait.

Emergency Roof Repairs

A rapid call-out to make the roof safe and watertight the same day, then a proper repair booked in once the storm has passed.

New Roofs & Replacements

New Roofs & Replacements

A roof measured in decades, not seasons.

New Roofs & Replacements

Full strip and re-roof on the best products the market offers, installed to earn the strongest manufacturer warranties available.

Flat Roofing

Flat Roofing

Extensions, garages and dormers, sealed for good.

Flat Roofing

Modern membrane systems laid with proper falls and detailing, so water leaves the roof instead of sitting on it.

Slate Roofing

Slate Roofing

Traditional Scottish slate, done traditionally.

Slate Roofing

Patch repairs, full re-slates and sympathetic matching on older Aberdeenshire properties where the roof is part of the character.

Tile Roofing

Tile Roofing

Clean lines, straight courses, no surprises.

Tile Roofing

Concrete and clay tiling in a range of profiles and colours, set out properly so the finished roof reads level from the street.

Chimney Repairs

Chimney Repairs

The most exposed part of the house.

Chimney Repairs

Rebuilds, re-pointing, flaunching and cowls. Chimneys take the worst of the weather and are usually the first thing to let water in.

Leadwork

Leadwork

Where the roof meets everything else.

Leadwork

Hand-dressed flashings, soakers, valleys and abutments — the junctions that quietly decide whether a roof stays dry.

Guttering

Guttering

Rain, redirected away from your walls.

Guttering

New runs, replacements, realignment and clearing. A blocked gutter costs far more in damp walls than it ever does to fix.

Fascias & Soffits

Fascias & Soffits

The line that finishes the whole house.

Fascias & Soffits

Durable uPVC roofline replacing tired timber — better ventilation into the loft and a frontage that looks looked-after.

Storm Damage Repairs

Storm Damage Repairs

Assessed, documented, put right.

Storm Damage Repairs

Post-storm inspections with photographs you can hand straight to your insurer, followed by a permanent repair.

Commercial Roofing

Commercial Roofing

Work that fits around your working day.

Commercial Roofing

Units, offices and premises across Aberdeenshire, planned to keep disruption, downtime and access issues to a minimum.

The Detail Others Charge For

Every service on this page includes pointing.

Mortar is the quiet half of a roof. Ridges, verges, chimney stacks, abutments — when the pointing goes, water finds the gap long before anything looks wrong from the ground. Most of the leaks we are called out to started there.

So we do not treat it as an upsell. Whatever we are on your roof to do, the pointing is inspected and made good as part of the job.

Chapter Three

From your first call to the final handshake.

Five steps, the same on every job, whether it is a single slipped tile or a full commercial re-roof.

01

You call, we answer

One number, answered by the people who will actually be on your roof. Tell us what you are seeing and we will tell you straight away whether it sounds urgent.

02

We climb up and look

A free, no-obligation inspection with photographs from roof level, so you can see exactly what we saw without going up a ladder yourself.

03

A written, fixed quote

Itemised, in plain English, with the materials named. The price you agree is the price you pay unless you ask us to change the scope.

04

The work gets done

We turn up when we say we will, work safely at height, keep you updated daily and leave the site clean at the end of every shift.

05

Signed off and guaranteed

A final walk-round together, photographs of the finished work, and your manufacturer warranty paperwork handed over before we leave.

Chapter Four

The part you cannot see from the ground.

Good roofing is mostly what happens before anyone gets on the ladder — the cover, the certification, the products and the timekeeping.

Everything that has to be right before we set foot on the ladder.

Cover, certification, product choice and punctuality are not extras we mention if asked. They are the conditions we work under on every job, domestic or commercial.

Fully insured

Commercial and domestic cover in place on every single job, large or small.

Working at Height certified

Trained, ticketed and set up properly before a single tile is lifted.

Best-in-market warranties

We only fit products that carry the strongest manufacturer guarantees.

Timekeeping that holds

Fifteen years of turning up on the day we said, at the time we said.

Chapter Five

Local enough to be there today.

Based in Inverurie, working the length and breadth of the shire. If your roof is within reach of us, you get a real person on site rather than a call-centre ticket number.

Inverurie

Our home base. Most jobs here are seen the same week you call.

Aberdeen

City tenements, granite terraces and commercial premises across all AB postcodes.

Aberdeenshire

Rural properties, farm buildings and exposed sites the length of the shire.

Before You Call

The questions we get asked most.

Not seeing yours? Phone Steven directly — you will get a straight answer, not a sales pitch.

07359 503091

Yes. Every service on this page includes pointing as standard. Ridge lines, chimney stacks, verges and abutments — wherever mortar is doing a job on your roof, it gets checked and made good as part of the work, not billed as an extra afterwards.

For genuine emergencies — an active leak, storm damage, tiles coming off — we prioritise a same-day visit wherever we can reach you. The first job is always to make the roof safe and watertight; the permanent repair is booked in once conditions allow.

It is. We inspect, photograph and quote at no cost and with no obligation. You get the photographs and the written quote whether or not you go ahead with us.

We hold full commercial and domestic insurance cover and we are Working at Height certified. Ask and we will send the documents over before we start — we would rather you checked.

For storm and accidental damage we provide a documented report with dated roof-level photographs and an itemised breakdown, written so your insurer can act on it directly.

A typical domestic re-roof runs three to five working days depending on size, pitch, access and the Aberdeenshire weather. You will get a realistic timeframe in the quote, and a call from us if anything changes.

How Your Story Ends

A dry house, a written guarantee, and no more looking at the ceiling.

Tell us what you are seeing and we will come and look at it for free. No obligation, no pressure — just an honest answer from a team that has been doing this for fifteen years.
